Biomaterials for Tissue Engineering
Main contributions and projects:
Prof. Jian Liu’s research group (iMINTS Lab) focuses on developing functional nano materials and highly integrated microfluidic platforms for biomedical applications. These include new tools to detect biomarkers for early diagnosis of diseases, development of personalized therapies, and demand-based designs of biomaterials for regenerative medicine. Advances in these fields are highly translational, promising tremendous benefits for human health. Our team is very interested in exploring the new understanding on the properties of nano materials by synchrotron radiation-based techniques.
