Mechanistic and electronic structure studies of bioinorganic systems.
Studies using electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, magnetic circular dichroism, emission and emission lifetime techniques of metal-binding to proteins, porphyrins, heme proteins, the Isd proteins in Staphylococcus aureus, and metal-induced protein folding in metallothioneins.
