CANADIAN UNIVERSITIES: WARM WELCOME FROM COLD CITIES
Thinking about studying abroad? Come and find out how Canadian Universities are different and how a real winter can be a lot of fun. In Canadian Universities you have, among other things: exploratory sessions for the undecided, a mix of tutorial and lecture approach to teaching, free students’ services including psychological counselling and academic advising as well as financial assistance and an employment center. We will explore all those and much more. Useful web links will be provided to help you with your choices and procedures.
As for winters, they are great; they allow for many fun sports and activities like ice skating, snowboarding and snowshoeing, skiing, dogsledding and sleigh rides. Some sports require practice and some others just require participation, like cross-country skiing: from scenic skiing in Québec to night skiing in
And when you come back in the warm and comfortably heated houses, gathering around convivial fire places for a glass of mulled wine, or green tea if you prefer, makes all those efforts worth every second of it. After a day of winter great outdoor activities, some of which can be done right in the middle of the cities, you come back re-energised, high-spirited and in good shape to resume your studies.
But such great times don’t last for ever, because we also have warm summers…
