The School of Music at Soochow University (Suzhou, China) invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor of Musicology. Candidates should have a completed PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in musicology or music history and a record of excellent teaching and scholarship. Preferred area of specialization is music before 1700. The duties of this position include teaching courses for graduate and undergraduate students, advising graduate students, and serving on committees within the School of Music.
