Spin photonics mainly focus on spin-dependent optical phenomena, including spin-orbit interaction of light, photonic spin Hall effect, and the related applications, which may open a possible pathway for controlling the spin states of photons and developing next-generation photonic spin-Hall devices. In this talk, I will give a brief review on the recent advances in spin photonics, and then discuss some promising future directions in the field.

报告人简介:

罗海陆，湖南大学物理与微电子科学学院，教授、博士生导师。2007年于南京大学获博士学位后，到湖南大学工作至今。罗海陆在光的自旋-轨道相互作用、光子自旋霍尔效应、量子弱测量、光场调控等方面做了系统的研究工作，在包括Reports on Progress in Physics、Light: Science & Applications、ACS Nano、APL、OL、PRA等国际学术期刊上发表SCI论文100余篇，引用1600余次，H因子为23。
