08/2010- present,    Senior Scientist, Group leader of electrophysiology platform

Dept. of Neurodegeneration, R&D, GSK

Major responsibilities:

Lead electrophysiological efforts for GSK’s neuroscience therapeutic area with ND DPU, NI DPU and RM DPU in Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson disease, multiple sclerosis and chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy.

Major achievements:

Develop SOPs for electrophysiological assays. Coordinate with multiple project leaders to prioritize projects and achieve timely delivery for neuroscience pipeline. Bring two compounds to Candidate selection and one compound to First time in Human; One active project from target identification to start-of-chemistry to pre-candidate selection.
