报告人简介：

        Dr. Yuzuru Imai is an associate professor of Juntendo University Graduate School of Medicine. He received his PhD in biophysics from Kyoto University in 1999, and did a postdoctoral fellowship in Brain Science Institute at RIKEN and at Stanford University from 1999 - 2007. He started his research as a PI at Tohoku University in 2007 before moving to Juntendo university. His main research area is neurodegenerative disorders, in particular pathogenic mechanism of Parkinson’s disease. His current area of focus is understanding the role of Parkinson’s-associated genes using Drosophila, mice, and iPS cells.
