Inorganic Nanomaterials for Cancer Theranostics
Introduction:
Inorganic nanomaterials with many unique physical and chemical properties have found interesting applications in biomedicine. In our laboratory, we have explored a wide range of inorganic nanomaterials, including carbon nanomaterials, rare-earth-based upconversion nanoparticles, 2D metal sulfide nanostructures, mesoporous nanomaterials and biomineralized nanostructures, for applications in multimodal bio-imaging and cancer theranostics.
Specific projects:
- Inorganic multifunctional composite nanostructures for bio-sensing, bio-imaging, and cancer theranostics
- Biodegradable and renal-clearable nanomaterials for in vivo biomedical applications
- Nano-enzymes for biomedical imaging and cancer therapy
- Biomineralized materials for drug delivery and immunoengineering
