SDI（Selective Dissemination of information）
SDI is one of the traditional information service of the library. Aiming at user's research or teaching requirements, reports of resources searching or information tracking for a specified topic will be offered one-off, or termly, or aperiodically. Faculty, stuff, students of SU, or readers outside SU, can request for the service at the Library Reference Department.

Specified Search If you have difficulty in data retrieval, the Library Reference Department can search for specific resources instead of you.
Service Items:
1 Find internal or external reference materials for teaching, researching, solving technical problems or writing papers.
2 Find relevant materials for studying, developing and producing new products, especially in chemistry or chemical industry, biology, and medicine.
3 Find patent materials for developing new products or intellectual property disputes.
4 Find internal or external relevant standards for enterprises to accelerate their standardization course.
5 Offer reference documents and fundamental resources for government departments' programming and projection.
6 Follow and grasp up-to-data developing intelligence and new trends of a industry, offer foundation for establishing projections.
7 Retrieve papers' citation, find if it is included by important databases, such as SCI, EI, ISTP, ISI, SSCI and so on, for the writer to apply for rewards or titles of technical or professional posts, and make out certificates for the result.
