Education aims of the programme教学目标
This programme will provide students with a solid foundation and deep understanding in wireless and multimedia technologies. It is intended to respond to a growing-skill shortage for engineers with a high level of training in multimedia, broadcast, communications and image processing. By the time of graduation, students should have a good understanding and mastery of multimedia technologies, new mobile standards, digital television, video streaming, and peer-to-peer technologies.

Programme Overview 课程概况
Educational aims of the programme教学目标
The programme aims to provide state-of-the art education in the field of electrical power generation using sustainable, renewable and clean energy in supporting economic and environment sustainability, development and implementation of sustainable energy technologies. Nuclear energy technology is typically included to suit the Chinese nuclear power development. It opens up various job opportunities in industry, government institutions and research centers. Graduates of this programme will typically work in professional tasks including the implementation of sustainable energy technologies within existing or new energy system modeling and evaluation of impacts on ecosystems, economics and society.
本硕士专业将在运用可持续、可再生及清洁能源发电和供电领域提供顶尖教育,以此来推动经济与环境的可持续发展以及相关可持续能源科技项目的实施。针对中国核电快速发展的需要,该硕士专业包括了核能技术课程,其重点在于学习核发电的基本原理以及核能利用对环境的影响。毕业生可以在工业界、政府机构或研究中心从事专业相关的工作,包括如何在现有或新兴的能源系统模式下实现可持续能源技术,并评估其对生态系统、经济及社会产生的影响。
