BD FACSAriaIII Flow Cytometry

time:2020-07-08Hits:97设置

Flow cytometry is a laser- or impedance-based, biophysical technology employed in cell counting, cell sorting, biomarker detection and protein engineering, by suspending cells in a stream of fluid and passing them through an electronic detection apparatus. A flow cytometer allows simultaneous multiparametric analysis of the physical and chemical characteristics of up to thousands of particles per second.

Instrument name

BD FACSAriaIII Flow Cytometry

Model number

BD FACSAriaIII

Manufacturer

BD Company

Specifications

1. Fluorescence detectors and   filters: Five fixed-fiber apertures for the   488, 633, and 405-nm lasers.

2. Nozzles: Nozzles are available in four sizes: 70, 85, 100,   and 130 microns.

3. High-performance analysis,   high-performance sorting: The flow cell and nozzle design enable low particle   speeds in the analysis zone for maximum light collection, and then accelerate   the particle through the nozzle at stream speeds to achieve the drop rates   required for high-performance sorting.

4. Easy aseptic   setup and cleaning.

Applications and Uses

Flow cytometry is widely used in biological basic   research and clinical applications, and has played an important role in the   field of immunology, genetics, hematology, oncology, botany. As a high-end   development of life science research and diagnostic laboratory instruments,   flow cytometry provides an ideal testing and analysis method for the   understanding of cells and life activities, the mechanism of disease and drug   development, and the interaction between nanomaterials and cells.
