Research Experience and Accomplishments:
Dr. Liu’s research in the past few years was mostly focused on the development of functional nanomaterials including carbon nanomaterials, upconversion nanoparticles, organic nanomaterials, protein-based carriers, and other multifunctional composite nanostructures, for the exploration of novel disease diagnostic and cancer therapeutic approaches. Starting from 2005, Dr. Liu has authored over 140 peer-reviewed papers, which have received a total citation of > 17,000 times and given him an H-index at 61. He was listed as one of the ‘Most Cited Chinese Researchers’ by Elsevier in 2014.
