报告题目:The Digital Design and 3D printing of Bioresorbable Polymeric Medical Devices

报告摘要:
Intensive studies are being carried out using devices made of bioresorbable polymers inside the human body to provide various temporary functions. 3D printing, specially fused filament fabrication, is a convenient and cost-effective manufacturing method for patient-based biomedical devices due to its layer-by-layer manner. However, designing the customised medical devices to meet desired biodegradable and mechanical properties is difficult, as many mechanisms and parameters influence the degradation process. Besides, in practice, the degradation process usually takes weeks to years, making its experiments very time-consuming. Thus, develop an accurate and comprehensive digital design platform for 3D printing bioresorbable polymer medical devices is crucial. In this talk, the development details, the validation and the application of the digital design platform will be presented.
个人简介 :
韩晓筱,女,汉族,1983年11月出生于重庆,中共党员,教授,博士生导师,海外高层次人才特聘专家,湖湘高层次人才集聚工程获得者,湖南省第八届侨代会代表。曾旅英13年,获得英国拉夫堡大学永久讲师职位,主要研究方向为生物可降解材料、生物复合材料的先进设计和制造。代表性论文发表在Biomaterials,Acta Biomaterials,Biofabrication等期刊,担任多个SCI杂志编委。曾主持和参加EPSRC,欧盟FP7,地平线2020项目共4项,目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目,湖南省科技厅重点研发项目等4项。
