报告摘要:
The creation of new molecules for discovering valuable optoelectronic materials presents one of the major endeavors of modern synthetic organic chemists. For such a purpose, molecule design and efficient synthetic strategy are always critical. In this talk, several new conjugated molecules useful as functional electronic materials will be introduced with the hope to stimulate further exploration of their applications. The talk will describe their design concept, properties, and synthetic strategies to access these molecules, as well as their functions for perovskite solar cells, photodetectors, cell imaging, and sensors.
个人简介 :
Rui Shang is currently working as an associate professor at the department of chemistry, The University of Tokyo. He received his B.Sc. (2009) and Ph.D. (2014) from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and he worked as a joint-training Ph.D. in The University of Tokyo (2012-2014) and then served as a JSPS fellowship (2014-2016) in the same institute working with Prof. Eiichi Nakamura. In 2017, he was promoted to a lecturer at the University of Tokyo, and in 2020 as an associate professor. Dr. Shang’s research interests cover new catalytic reactions, novel conjugated molecules, and their material functions. His current research focuses on three aspects 1) development of new reactions using base metal catalysis for electronic materials (Nat. Catal. 2019, 2, 400; J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2020, 142, 4883; J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2021, 143, 6823; Nat. Catal. 2021, 4, 631); 2) creation of novel conjugated pi-molecules (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2018, 140,5018; J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2020, 142, 2059; J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2020, 142, 18990; Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2022, 61,e202203949); 3) design and development of new photocatalysis methodologies for organic synthesis (Science2019, 363, 1429; Sci. China Chem. 2021, 64, 439; Nat. Commun. 2022, 13, 354). He received the Hundred Excellent Doctor Thesis of the Chinese Academy of Science from the Chinese Academy of Science in 2015 and the Springer Doctoral Thesis Prize in 2016. He was selected as an Early Career Advisory Board member for the Science of Synthesis (SoS), in 2022 and a JSP fellow of the Bürgenstock Conference in 2022.
