报告摘要:

Flexible and transparent electronics enable the integration of innovative cost-efficient products. One of the outstanding aspects of this technology is its wide range of applications, from flexible and transparent displays to wearable electronics and RFID tags for sensor networks. In this area, thin-film transistors are the key elements which drive the electrical currents in the devices. The main part of the talk deals with the flexible and transparent electronics research, in which ZnO-based TFTs were integrated and characterized. As a second part of the talk, a brief discussion regarding energy transition will be performed. The focus will be on the employment of a low-voltage dc (LVdc) distribution system for an efficient connection interface for the insertion of renewable energy sources (RESs) on the grid.

 

个人简介 :

Fábio F. Vidor is currently a Professor at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre, Brazil. Conjointly, he is the Co-Founder of the Energy System Technology Laboratory (LATSE) at UFRGS. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the M.Sc. degree in microelectronics both from UFRGS in 2011 and 2012, respectively. He also received the Dr.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the Paderborn University, Paderborn, Germany, in 2017. His research interests include AC/DC grids, power systems, smart grids, as well as ZnO-based and complementary TFTs and flexible electronics.
