In September, Professor Zhao Aiguo from School of Foreign Languages was awarded the Russian Prestigious Pushkin Medal on the 15th Conference by International Association of Teachers of Russian. From December 8th to 9th, the new era Russian education reform forum and the 2023 national Russian language teaching and research annual conference were held at Peking University, and the award ceremony was held at the opening ceremony

According to International Association of Teachers of Russian, Professor Zhao Aiguo made outstanding achievements in the theoretical construction and interpretation of Russian language and culture, academic exploration of cultural semiotics, and Russian education and teaching. Vice President Ning Qi from Peking University called him as a true “master” in the field of the Chinese Russian academic circle.
