1. Full Scholarship
For outstanding international students who apply for master and doctoral programs at our university. The scholarship includes registration fee, tuition fee, accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and monthly stipend (the monthly stipend standard is in accordance with the Chinese Government Scholarship standard).
2. Partial Scholarship
For outstanding international students who apply for master and doctoral programs at our university. The scholarship includes registration fee, tuition fee, accommodation and comprehensive medical insurance.

2. Duration
The duration of full scholarship and partial scholarship shall be the study period determined upon admission, and shall not be extended.
3. Coverage
Including tuition fees, accommodation, stipend and comprehensive medical insurance.
4. Standard
(1) Tuition fees waived
(2) Free university dormitory
(3) Stipend in China
Master student: 3000 RMB/month
PhD student: 3500 RMB/month
(4) Comprehensive medical insurance: 600 RMB/person/year
III. Eligibility
1. Be a citizen of a country other than the PRC and in good health both mentally and physically.
2. Education & Age
(1) Be an academically excellent holder of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent under the age of 35 when applying for a master program.
(2) Be an academically excellent holder of a master’s degree or its equivalent under the age of 40 when applying for a doctoral program
3. Language
(1) Have passed HSK5 when applying for Chinese-taught master or doctoral programs.
(2) Have met the English proficiency requirements when applying for English-taught master or doctoral programs.
4. Applicants should meet both academic and other relevant admission requirements of the institution to which they apply.
IV. Application
Applicants can log on to Soochow University International Student Service System (http://iaa.suda.edu.cn), select "Soochow University Scholarship" and complete the online application.
